Is it true that Russian soldiers never killed German chidlren or women during the second world war?

Is it true? I heard they never killed them... Well like some evil people did but I heard that they didn't kill them because they were raised to believe that men can't hurt women or children..... And Geraman soldiers killed chidren and women. So is it true or not. I need some good answers don't just say stupid things please. Is it true that Russian soldiers never killed German chidlren or women during the second world war?
Of course women and children did get killed in WW2. All of the way around. To understand that you would really have to read some history. The Germans were getting desperate.... and if you have to lean one way the Russians did better. But then again what womwn and children were the Russians going kill? The Germans did not bring along their families to the front. The Russians were defending their homes, land and families.

But there is a kernel of truth in what you say. In western cultures generally the attitude is that war is between men. Everybody has wives, mothers and children so no need to slaughter the innocent. They are not combatants so hence no threat. Yes there were atrocities (on all sides) but that is the general idea. Yes how one was raised with certain views.

As opposed to current events. A terrorist has no problem blowing up a shopping center killing all...... it says much. Man on man and you want to blow up a police station, command post or whatever? Go for it. But non combatants? I have seen such with my own eyes so have never had a problem with wiping out insurgents. They don't even respect their own wives.

I am rambling as this edges into my own life as a lifelong military man. And still at it. But to add the being raised and culture thing. All sides pretty much took care of the others POWs. It was men... you might be on the other side but there was a fundamental respect.

Whoever you heard this from needs to bone up on history a bit.Is it true that Russian soldiers never killed German chidlren or women during the second world war?
No it is not true, Soviet soldiers murdered there way across Germany just like the Germans did on there way to Moscow.

The Soviet Union had basically 2 different groups of soldiers, one was made up of highly trained and motivated men with intentions of it being a life long job and the other was made up of conscripts from the dredges of the Soviet Union, forced to fight.

The first group stayed pretty much with in the bounds of the Geneva Convention and rules of war, the second group almost never did, rape and murder were common.
There's a reason why there's a saying, 'War is Hell'. I can almost guarantee you Russian soldiers killed German children and women. I have no doubt it was not condoned but when you're in the field left to your own devices, pissed off that maybe your best friend's head was just shot off by German troops and you come across a German family, I have no doubt there was that Russian soldier than took matters into their own hands for revenge. Was it widespread like the Nazi's killing Jews...no. Keep in mind, it wasn't ALL Germans, it was the Nazis.
I don't think that it was smth exceptional, though there were enough convicted criminals in Red Army who traded camps for war with Germany, they might have killed and raped civilians.

Once I helped my friend to sell his motorcycle, we came to a motor-market in Moscow. Some guys from a remote village came up to us and we arranged a deal. During the conversation we touched upon who served where. They appeared to have served in Afghanistan and with great enthusiasm one of them told us how sergeant taught them how to rape Afghan girls and shoot them after that and how they followed his lessons. It was so nasty that I was ready to vomit. But after all that's how wars are fought on the one hand. On the other hand no wonder Afghan people started a fierce guerrilla war against Russians. One of my friends landed in Bagram in first of the Russian transport jets. He was a paratrooper. He and his comrades never did anything wrong to Afghan people and at first there was real piece and friendship . And I think that in Germany during the WWII the situation was about the same.
No it's not true. atrocities were committed by both sides.

-For the record, before my Great uncle died we had some long talks about the war. he had been captured by the Germans in the last year.

His words to me were; ';No matter what they tell you or what you read, I was captured along with others and we were treated VERY well. I'm not sure if it was because it was the end days or if it was because of my last name but, they were gentlemen.';

For what it's worth.....:(
No. Completely wrong. The Soviets were just as beastly as the Germans. They had an unofficial rape and pillage program going on in conquered lands. It is a horrible chapter of history. There are estimates of how many German women were raped, I cannot recall the numbers but they were terrifying.
not sure though stalin killed everyone and anyone who got out of line it is said some people have said that stalin made hitler look like a boy scout

and that many of his own

churchill did say that there was never a good war or bad peace when polititians fail and commerce too the dangers are plain trade deficits breaches of agreement copyright etc etc fire the options to war

two party government systems are machievellian without three parties and consensus elections that form governments from all parties the see saw arrangement of boom and bust continue
I very seriously doubt that is a true statement. That's just not the way of war.

I don't know how good that answer is, but it's all I have for you.
Everyone was killed during the second war it didn't matter if you were a child or woman.
they may not have killed women and young children but the men raped the women when the invasion of germany happened
women and children get killed in every war. no exceptions.
Didn't the HJ and Hitler Youth attack the Russians anyway?
that happens in every war, with every country
Your Naivety is amazing...
No, that's completely false.
