Is it true that it takes more time for a male fetus takes time to develop than the other?

If yes why and how long the same 9 months? Is it true that it takes more time for a male fetus takes time to develop than the other?
I don't know why but I believe males do take longer.

My sister has 4 kids; 3 girls then finally a boy and the boy took the longest and was the last.

I also had a boy and was pregnant was 41 weeks before he decided to come out.Is it true that it takes more time for a male fetus takes time to develop than the other?
I believe this to be so. There is some speculation that this has to do with a ';testosterone bath'; in the womb that takes time away from other development to build the male reproductive organs.

If you ask nurses and OB, I think they would agree. There is a slight difference. Boy babies born prematurely are more likely to have underdeveloped lungs, for example. They are just slightly behind girls.
yeah, men start off lazy that early! lol

no, seriously, I have never heard that specifically, although there might be subtle differences but it all takes pretty much 9 months whatever the gender.
