Is it true that hotels by law have to change the sheets but not the comforter on their beds?

i was told that its a law that hotels have to change the sheets on their beds each time that someone occupies the room then checks out but that they do not have to change the comforter...is this true?Is it true that hotels by law have to change the sheets but not the comforter on their beds?

I don't know if it's ';LAW'; but, it may be a policy.... I've heard that the comforter is not washed everytime a customer checks out which is why I do not use the comforter. I bring my own blanket to put on the bed... However, I guess you could request a fresh comforter for your room and see what happens...I also keep a can of lysol in my suitcase or buy one and spray the bedding down....
Yes but in Kentucky, the the oil from the bed sheets %26amp; comforter is recycled for use in other products.
hotels I have been to change sheets daily. Blankets and comforters are NOT changed with each guest.
Regardless, never lay on the bedspread. As soon as I check in, I peel that away.
