Is it true that wind is caused by trees sneezing? Someone told me this and I think it true because when it`s windy I see trees move like they sneezing. Is it true that wind is caused by trees sneezing?
Wind is caused by differences in temperature which cause air to move and atmospheric pressure to change. For example, the terrible power of a hurricane is caused by nothing more than winds traveling in a rotating fashion around an area of low pressure.
Not only can winds move sideways, but up and down, and this causes things like ';air pockets'; that let a jet drop, or thermals that make gliders rise. Hailstorms are also caused by violent columns of moving air.
You can model the ';vortexes'; (strong twisting forces) of hurricanes and tornadoes in your own bath tub by removing a drain plug and watching the water go down the drain.
I love a good legend, but science is much more interesting. Is it true that wind is caused by trees sneezing?
:D
Can be true in fiction not fact
Do trees move like sneezing when they are faced with a wind storm?
Or high winds?
But remember I have never found or said that trees do not sneez
May be they do, you never know
Sometimes facts come from fiction, don't they?
Wind is the flow of air or other gases that compose an atmosphere, Unfortunately wind is not created by tress sneezing. That is very cute though.
mate the trees are moving because of the wind
wind is caused by high and low pressure air systems rubbing against each other
dude are you serious? i cant belive your acculy asking a 4th grade question! do you think trees really sneeze? do they burp too? hahahaha
Go slap the person who told you this. Maybe slap yourself too for believing it.
Yes, yes it is.
this question made me smile :-)
