Im tall (almost 6ft) but very slim. Im currently 37 weeks with my 3rd baby an my bump is tiny, as were my other 2!! My last 2 babies wer 7 an a hlf pound an iv been told this baby is gonna be the same!!Is it true that if youre a small person before pregnancy youll likely have a small baby?
no, don't worry about it. as long as u get the healthy baby, who cares if its small or big.
In fact my dr scolded me when i put on too much weight one month, that if i keep on going like this, my baby will be big and i will have problems during labour and end up having a c-section, so slow down on those extra lbs.
hope it helps.
I don't think so. I knew a woman who is a ';little person'; - she is under 4'3'; and she had a 7lb baby. My mom is 5'3'; and I was 5lbs 11ozs. So, the larger person had a smaller baby.
If you eat healthy and take care of yourself you will have a baby of average wieght most likely. I am small framed, I had one that was 7lbs and another that was 8 lbs.
No! I know several very small women who had rather large babies. I also know small women who had average babies and small babies. Your size won't necessarily affect the size of your baby.
My mom is 5'4'; and never weighed more than 110lbs in her life; I was 7lbs 6oz. I'm 5'6'; and was 105-110 pre-pregnancy; my son was 9lbs 10oz.
NO!!!!
A friend of mine is 4'11';, about 102 pounds and gave birth [[vaginally too]] to a 9 lb 12 oz baby boy...
And yes, she is still able to walk... she gets asked that a lot lol
I was 5'2'; and 100 lbs and at birth weighed 5 lbs 2 oz. My kids~~one was almost 8 lbs and one was a tad over 8 lbs. so I feel it has nothing to do with the mother's size.
I was tall and thin when I had my 12pound six ounce son. I KNOW that theory isn't true. LOL!
Sorry...not true....I was short and tiny when I got preg with my daughter...She was born weighing 9lbs 2 oz
nope.. not true at all..
